ASTD (American Society for Training & Development) is the world’s largest association in the field of training and development profession. For over 70 years now ASTD is continuously breaking all barriers for success.  Having proud and active members from more than 100 countries and connecting locally in more than 120 U.S. chapters and with more than 16 international partners, ASTD never stops organizing seminars, workshops, and conferences to update all the affiliates of the latest trends and strategies in various fields.

The latest big ASTD event was on May 19 – 22, 2013 where the leadership of ASTD spearheaded the “ASTD 2013 International Conference and Exposition” in Dallas, Texas, USA.  As an active member of the society, Averroes Advisory Managing Director, Mr. Ahmed Abounahia participated in  the conference. The event was highlighted by the best keynote speakers in the international scene such as, Ken Blanchard, Marshall Goldsmith, Stephen Corey, Ken Robinson, to name a few.  It was definitely a four days of full learning and interacting plus preconference opportunities, with more than 380 international exhibitors and 300-plus sessions during the conference.
